William Archer (London)
Company Director

International Graduate Insight Group founder, William Archer, has over 20 years' experience of international education and recruitment, combined with 22 years of qualitative and quantitative market research and assessment. He has worked as HR consultant to multinational corporations and governments, as advisor to some of the world's best-known universities and business schools and as an independent expert for NGOs and charities.

William is co-author of "Working in the European Union", the European Commission's official guide to higher education and recruitment in the EU and "Attitudes to Recruitment and Retention in the Private and Public Sectors", a study of senior managers for the Financial Times.

In the 1990s, William pioneered the use of consortia recruitment to reverse the brain drain from Asia and initiated a wave of studies into the attitudes and aspirations of internationally-educated students (Asia Managers, Euro Managers, Africa Managers). He also led initiatives to encourage exiles and recent graduates to return to the new South Africa and other African nations. In 1998 he created The Global Workplace, a recruiting network for alumni of the world’s leading business schools .An alumnus of London Business School and former head of education practice at recruitment specialist Barkers Norman Broadbent, William is non-executive chairman of Tokyo-based strategy house GTFKK.

Kevin Brett (Canberra)
Director of i-graduate, Australia

Kevin has been working in international education since 1985. His experience in project management includes design and implementation of education and development programs, transnational education delivery and student mobility initiatives. He also has considerable experience in marketing, business development and student recruitment both in Australia and offshore. His current prime interest is quality assurance in international higher education. Previous positions in Australian Universities include Deputy Director, University of South Australia International from 2001 to 2003, Director UniSA International (2004 - 2005) and Director University of Canberra International (2005 - 2006). He has been engaged in change management, introduction of e-commerce systems, web marketing and risk management.

Deborah Machard (Johannesburg)
Director of i-graduate, South Africa

Deborah is a well-qualified educationalist who has made significant contributions towards the transformation and development of Education and Training in South Africa. Deborah holds a Master of Education in Adult Education & Training and a Bachelor of Education (Honours). Her experience includes teaching and training, curriculum development, international business development, project management and senior management. Deborah was previously the CEO of Education Training and Development Practices, Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA), and has also worked in USAID activities as a project development specialist. Deborah's commitment to quality and service is exemplified in her receiving several national awards for her work.

Cathy Riley (London)
Consultant

With over 30 years' experience in market research, Cathy's expertise focuses on research to support the service sector, from education to finance to travel and tourism and energy provision. With experience in both agency and client roles in her career, Cathy was previously a director at Research International and worked client side in research management for Thomson Travel, American Express EMEA and British Caledonian Airways. She currently acts as a consultant to i-graduate, is a director of Business Development Research Consultants Ltd and manages an independent research consultancy, Catalyst Research, which focuses on service industry issues. Cathy has spoken at a number of research events on industry specific topics and is a full member of the Market Research Society (MRS) and a member of the European Market Research Society (ESOMAR).

Nannette Ripmeester (Rotterdam)
Director of i-graduate, Netherlands

Nannette Ripmeester is an internationally acclaimed expert on making a success of the international experience. A graduate of the University of Amsterdam, she started her international career at the European Commission in Brussels and worked subsequently in 17 countries on a project basis. In addition to extensive education sector experience, Nannette has worked for several multinational companies and the national governments of Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland. Nannette is the author of a highly praised series of guides "Looking for work in..." which covers job-hunting practices and cultural management differences in over 40 countries.
