Country Insight Reports

Country Insight Reports

*New global series of Country Insight Reports now available! (based on ISB Autumn 2007 data)*

  • Respondents from Pakistan are more likely to have been influenced by friends (56%) compared to other students from Southern Asia (46%) when selecting a university
  • Pakistanis are comparatively less likely to have used the services of an agent (13%) than their Southern Asian counterparts
  • 67% of Pakistanis paid an agent, compared to just 22% across the rest of Southern Asia
  • Pakistani students are generally less satisfied than the ISB benchmark group with the support services provided by their institutions, perhaps indicating that students from Pakistan are a more demanding group and may be more difficult to please than students from elsewhere in Southern Asia

i-graduate's International Student Barometer (ISB) collates feedback from over 140,000 students each year. One derivative of the ISB process is a series of 88 Country Insight Reports, revealing each year the influences, expectations and perceptions of students from each country, compared against global and regional benchmarks.

With over 50 pages of detailed analysis for each specific source market, including the decision making processes, motivations and satisfaction with the university experience, Country Insight Reports are a vital resource for marketing and recruitment planning.

Each Country Insight Report offers insight for each specific source country compared with global and regional indices for areas including:

  • Demographic information e.g. level of study, area of study, gender, year of study
  • Location prior to study, other countries considered as a study destination
  • Decision making influencers and motivations
  • Method of application and satisfaction with the arrival experience
  • Relative importance of elements of the learning and living experiences
  • Satisfaction with experiences of learning, living and support services
  • Likelihood to recommend to others
  • Learning Styles: personality and attitude

i-graduate partner institutions receive a 70% discount on the cost of each Country Insight Report (please refer to terms and conditions for more details)
